Figuring things out has always been my forte. Not so much to gain knowledge, but to survive. I need to know how to keep the things I have. That was all easy, until my wife’s BMW broke down. In hindsight fixing it was the easy part. Convincing my wife I could, well that was something different. It did help that she knew what the local shop wanted to charge. I’ve always tried take on stuff I was unsure about.

That is not the kind of stuff I do for a living! When you hire me, you can trust I know what the heck I’m doing. Like, building a Bunkhouse on the side of a mountain! Or a massive tree house with a deck and swirly slide! Custom shelves? Ha! Generally, I like to create things. A bit of an artist at heart. (I could show you some pieces if you don’t believe me!). Artistic license is my specialty! Even so, I am always happy to encounter people who already know exactly what they want. As long as they want to hire me.
If I can’t do it… I will just tell you. Or I might say something like, “well, I know how its done, but I don’t necessarily do it”. And, if you want; you can still hire me. No harm done.
I am not your run of the mill handyman. Things take time, and there is a season for everything. When it’s the right time to do something, it’s always worth it. I for one, don’t cut corners and I don’t paint in the rain.
Unfortunately, I have set a great example for my son and now he points out everything that needs fixing around the house… He just started preschool.
